"Yesterday's Dreams" was also recorded in the summer of 2024, and like many of my pieces, it starts slow and quiet but builds into something energetic and powerful. This piece was especially inspired by my epic orchestral influences—particularly by my favorite composer, Thomas Bergersen, and the way his music often starts slow and ends with an unexpected energy and complexity. This track is about remembering the dreams and ambitions you once had, knowing they are now forever out of your reach, but still appreciating the beauty they embody.
