From the recording Return to Dust
I recorded "Forevermore" just a few minutes before I went on a month-long trip to Europe in the summer of 2024. I'd been desperately trying to record a take I was satisfied with, but after about a week, I still had nothing. Until the very last minute... when everything came together. This track is about saying goodbye to a chapter in your life, knowing you're leaving it behind forever, but looking into the sunset with hope. This is how I feel about many things, including leaving "Painting Winter" behind, saying goodbye to family members who passed away, and leaving my home to enter the college world.
